Vivo has released the V30 Lite, the company’s first smartphone from the V30 series, in the Chinese market as the year comes to an end. The gadget is a reasonably priced choice with some amazing features and specs.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, powers the V30 Lite. FuntouchOS, the phone’s operating system, is based on Android 13, although Vivo has vowed to release an upgrade that would bring the phone closer to Android 14.
One of the highlights of the V30 Lite is its stunning display. The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that can reach up to 1,150 nits of brightness and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This makes the display ideal for watching videos, playing games, and browsing the web.
The V30 Lite also has a solid camera performance. The phone features a triple-camera system on the back, which consists of a 64-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. On the front, the phone has a 50-megapixel selfie camera, which is a rare feature among mid-range smartphones.
The V30 Lite has some other notable features as well. The phone has an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, NFC support for wireless payments, 5G connectivity for fast internet speeds, an in-display fingerprint scanner for security, and a large 4,800 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
The V30 Lite is currently available in two colors, Black Forest and Rose Gold, and costs around $530. The phone is initially sold in Mexico, but Vivo plans to expand its availability to other regions soon.
