Realme, the Chinese smartphone maker, is gearing up to unveil its next flagship devices, the Realme 12 Pro series, on January 29. The company has already given a sneak peek of the phones at the CES 2024 event, revealing some of their features and specifications.
But the Realme 12 Pro series is not the only thing that Realme has in store for its fans. The company has also teased a new line of smartphones, dubbed as the Note series, which seems to be inspired by the popular Samsung Note series that was discontinued last year.
The first smartphone under the Note series is the Realme Note 1, which is set to launch on January 24, according to a leaked image from an internal presentation (via PlayfulDroid). The image also reveals some of the key specifications of the device, which include:
– A 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner
– A triple rear camera system with a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens
– A 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls
– A 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging technology
– Dual speakers for enhanced audio quality
– A MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, which is a mid-range chipset with 5G support
– The memory configuration is unknown, but it is expected to have at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
The Realme Note 1 will also come with a stylus pen, which is the main feature of the Note series. The stylus will allow users to take notes, draw, edit, and perform other tasks on the phone. The Realme Note 1 will also support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, which are rare features in this price segment.
The Realme Note 1 will run on Android 14, the latest version of the operating system, which offers improved performance, security, and privacy features. The phone will also have the Realme UI 3.0, which is a custom skin that adds some additional features and customization options.
The Realme Note 1 will be available in multiple color options, such as black, white, blue, and green. The price and availability of the phone are yet to be announced, but it is expected to be a budget-friendly device that will compete with other mid-range phones in the market. The phone will be launched in India, China, and other regions where Realme operates, but it will not be sold in the US, where Realme does not have a presence.
