Xiaomi is gearing up for the global launch of its Xiaomi 14 series on February 25. The series includes three models: the Xiaomi 14, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. While the first two models have already been released in China, the Ultra model is yet to be unveiled.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be the most premium and powerful device in the series, with some impressive specifications and features. According to a tweet by well-known leaker Yogesh Brar, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will sport a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and immersive viewing experience. The device will also have a massive 5,300 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, ensuring long-lasting usage and fast charging.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is the latest and most advanced processor from the American chipmaker. The device will also run on Android 14 with Xiaomi’s custom HyperOS skin on top, providing a smooth and user-friendly interface.
One of the main highlights of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be its camera system, which will feature four 50-megapixel sensors with Leica optics. The rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50-megapixel 3.2x telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto camera. The front camera will also have a 32-megapixel sensor that can take stunning selfies.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will also have an IP68 rating, which means it can withstand water and dust exposure up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. The device will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and other features.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be launched globally on February 25, along with the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The price and availability of the devices are yet to be announced, but some reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may launch in India soon. The device is expected to compete with other flagship phones from Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, and others.
