As the launch date of the Nothing Phone (2a) approaches, more and more details about the device are being leaked online. The latest renders, courtesy of GSM Arena, reveal the phone in two different colors and show off its thin bezels.
The new images confirm that the Phone (2a) will follow the tradition of Nothing’s previous phones and offer a dark and a light variant. The phone also retains the distinctive Glyph LED system on the back, which surrounds the camera module. However, unlike the Phone (1) and Phone (2), the Phone (2a) does not support wireless charging.
The front of the phone looks impressive, with minimal and even bezels around the screen. This is a rare feature for a mid-range phone, as most of them compromise on the design to cut costs. The white version of the phone also has contrasting buttons for power and volume.
The leaks also corroborate what we already know from the official teasers: the Phone (2a) will run on a custom-made MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, which promises to deliver fast performance and 5G connectivity.
The pricing of the phone is still unknown, but some rumors suggest that it will cost €349 for the 8GB/128GB model and €399 for the 12GB/256GB model in Europe. It is unclear if the US pricing will match these figures or not.
With only a few days left until the official unveiling on March 5th, we are eager to find out more about the Phone (2a) and see if it can live up to the hype. Nothing has been making waves in the smartphone market with its innovative and stylish products, and the Phone (2a) could be another hit for the brand.
